Add Copy Part Layout Musescore 4
Hey all,
I'm not the first and won't be the last - please add the Copy Part Layout to Musescore 4. If I'm not seeing it, please advise me where I can find it.
I found a plugin for Musescore 3 that made it so you can copy the system breaks from the full score to all of the parts - you couldn't copy from one part to another, but it was still really useful.
I'm doing a test run of Musescore by writing a big band chart - and I think my heart stopped realizing that there wasn't a copy part layout function added. I thought that would be the first thing Musescore 4 would offer, next to 2 bar rests.
If anyone has a workaround, please do advise. I have not tried this manual working solution -https://musescore.org/en/node/316640 - but it looks daunting, and I don't know if this will work with musescore 4.

100% agree this would be a time saver.
I second this, and I'd like to hear from the Musescore team if this is a feature that's planned or not.
I've always been a huge advocate for Musescore over the competition, but as I have to write more and more big band charts for school I'm actually starting to question the viability of it.
I can't understand why they haven't implemented it yet, it's such a simple feature that would make a big difference.
Musescore overall needs better tools for jazz writing - the chord input is still very limited (MuseJazz font is ugly, some chord extensions are still not recognized properly, polychords aren't a thing...)
+1
Has there been any word from devs in regards to this question? It would be a game-changer, otherwise you have to go to every single part and make the same corrections...

Its like a single passenger seat car. Drive one kids to the pool, drive back home, pick up second kid, drive him to pool. Rinse and repeat. Day after day. Come on Musescore. Please make this simple but needed change to your app.
