Can't carry beam over a bar line
Hi, I'm trying to carry a beam over a bar line, as shown in the attached item. I tried selecting the last note of the first bar and the first note of the second bar and clicking the beam middle icon (as some people suggested in the forum) but nothing happened. Appreciate any help.

Open this file: beam.mscz
and do this:

Thank you for your help, and sorry for a late reply. I actually I tried this before I posted my question, because it didn't work. Any idea what's going on? I'm using 4.0.2 on a MacBook Air running Ventura 13.2.1. Thanks again.
