Disable by Default Community Acceleration
This feature, while neat and could help members of the community, its default state should be disabled. I do not want to, by default, have my network shared with others for the sake of acceleration.

I feel this way too.
100% agree, it should not get/be enabled without first asking for the user's agreement.
Enabling it without such consent IMHO is a severe breach of confidence and privacy
