Saving and Add Measures Dialogue issues
Good Day:
When in the saving dialogue, Return key functions, but cancellation via Command + Period does not.
When adding measures, the Return key and cancellation via Command + Period do not function. One has to move the mouse or trackpad to click on the blue OK button or the grey Cancel button. The arrow keys to adjust the number of measures to insert does work, however.

I'm not familiar with what Cmd+period is supposed to do, but what about the standard Esc key?
The issue with Enter/Return not working by default in the add measure dialog is already reported as https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/12222
Note you can also get to the buttons by pressing Tab. Once the cursor is on the OK button then Enter/Return works.

Thank you, Marc--I'll give that a try.
(Command+Period is the standard, very handy way to cancel on a mac.)

Hmm, I'm confused, are you saying it's simpler on some keyboards than the actual Esc key? or that some Mac keyboards lack an Esc key?

Macs have an escape key, but it's a bit of a reach to the upper left. The cancel through command+period is a thumb and finger immediately diagonal to one another. Quick access to application preferences is command+comma right next to that, minimizing using the "m" key, etc. making the mac keyboard experience more "bottom of the keyboard" focussed, I suppose.

Interesting; sounds like Apple defined it to be a replacement but neglected to have macOS actually map it to Esc, so individual apps have to process it separately? Anyhow, feel free to open an issue for that separately on GitHub, in https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues
