MuseScore won't open
After upgrading to 4.1.1 MuseScore tries to scan for plugins and gets stuck, without finishing the process and then (Not Responding). I tried to uninstall and install again, with no success. How can I fix this?

How do you know it is scanning for plug-ins? How did you uninstall (and restart) and reinstall? Try from the stand alone installer and not the Hub

I'm working on a MacBook Pro. When I try to open it shows the following message (attached). I uninstall by deleting the app ( going to the Trash). I tried installing through the Hub but also with the .dmg file - both return me to the same spot as before.

OK, I was thinking of something else. You might remove ( or change the folder name) any VSTs like that so that MuseScore can't see them. Then see what happens.
You are in good company, I have the exact same problem. After upgrading to 4.1.1 on my Mac, it gets stuck when trying to scan plugins.
On a Mac studio 12.6.8. I've uninstalled Musehub, uninstalled and then reinstalled Musescore without Musehub, and the issue remains.
Don't know what to do about it, but in the mean time I'll write my chart by hand. Works every time.
