Musescore 4 Playback Glitches
Hi. Our daughter has just upgraded to Musescore 4. The first piece she has started writing on it, the sounds themselves are lovely, but there are so many glitches in the playback, it is almost unlistenable to. Little clicks, pauses between bars etc. All the pieces she composed in Musescore 3 play perfectly in Musescore 4, it is just the piece written in MS4 that is the problem. We have tried leaving the mixer open and turning the master volume down slightly as I saw suggested somewhere, but they seem to have no effect. Any bright ideas (in not too techy language if possible please!) Many thanks

Ah rats! We only have 4GB RAM! Why do the scores written in MU3 play perfectly in MU4, do you think?

The MU4 playback system requires a lot more power. More than ram, you need the SSD. I have one system that only has 4gigs of ram. If you follow all the settings in the "how to", you might get closer. There may always be a delay. But recordings should be OK.
