MuseScore 4 - Chord Symbols not playing (even with play chord symbols toggled on)

Hi everyone,

I've created a score for GDAD banjo (tab with a linked treble clef), with chords added, but the chords don't play during playback, nor do they play when I export the audio. I've made sure the 'Play Chord Symbols' option is toggled to on in the gear icon (in the playback menu bar) and I've checked the mixer to see if any audio comes through the chords channel (which it doesn't). I'm not sure what I'm missing here. Strange thing is that the chords themselves play when I click on them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm using a MAC Ventura 13.5.2 and MuseScore: 4.1.1.232071203
