Adding "non-blocking" notes

Hi,
I was wondering how can I enter the following 4/4 measure to musescore4.
It is 4/4, so the first RE & FA takes 3/4, and after an 1/8 of them, the "higher" RE-RE-RE-RE-RE joins.
In the musescore program, when I enter the first RE & FA, they "block" 3/4 of the measure...

I understand I can break the 3/4 RE & FA into 1/8, and use tie to make it equivalent, but is there another way, more elegant.
