  1. Read the discussion in a previous thread How to change size of multi measure number:

    The recommendation in that thread is not to change the size.
     
  2. If you really want to make the number smaller, then you can enable Cue size for all multi measure rests:

- right-click the numeral for one multi measure rest
- choose Select > More ... > Element type: Multi measure rest, click OK
- in the Properties panel, enable Cue Size

Surely this should be adjusted by Format > Style... >Text Styles > Multi-measure rest range > Font Size ?

But for me in MS 4.2.0 a change in the font size there has no effect at all:

"How can I have that size in the number?"

  1. Menu path: Select > Style... > Sizes > Small note size - change from 70% to 150%
  2. Select the numeral for one multimeasure rest
    (or select the numerals for all multimeaure rests: right-click, Select > Similar)

  3. In the Properties panel for the numeral(s), in the General section enable the Cue size property
