Do chord symbols go above or below voltas?
Currently, Musescore's autoplacement puts the chord symbols under the volta, but with the very top of the characters touching the line. That's obviously not how it's supposed to be and I have to thus set it manually, but how?

Chord symbols go under the volta. I do not suffer from the problem that you appear to have.

Select a volta.
Go to inspector and find where "text" is.
Manipulate the x/y axis there.
Save it in "Format"

Found the issue: the default is good, but as usual, my musescore sometimes chooses to not respect the default. I place an element, notice it is positioned sillily, go look into its properties, and find it is already able to be restored to default.
