Can duplets be converted to dotted notation?

I have a piece of music written in 9/8. It uses duplets for 2 8th notes taking the time of 3 8th notes. I would prefer to use dotted 8ths; is there a way to convert duplets to dotted notation without deleting them and reentering?

Go through the piece using the RightArrow key. On every leading duplet, add an augmentation dot. That action will lengthen the leading note, and the trailing note will be shortened automatically,

But the OP wants the two notes of the duplet to have the same value. “It uses duplets for 2 8th notes taking the time of 3 8th notes.” I don’t think it can be done without using a duplet, which is the correct way. Two dotted 8ths would be thoroughly confusing.
