Using Explode to separate double stops
Should Explode be working with double stops? I have a strings part that is notated as double stops and I want them in separate parts. So, I made two new staves, and copied the part onto the upper staff. With that selected, I go to Tools > Explode, but nothing seems to happen. I see my selection now encompassing the lower staff but it remains blank with no change. Wondering if I am missing something or if it can't explode because it needs a full chord?

I had only selected the top staff. The screenshot is the result after I click explode - it changes my selection to both staves, as if it performed the action

You are right about the selection expanding, but it works for me in MU3.6. But what are all the markings you have above? I tried marked staccato & that works. Try without the articulations. Could be a bug...

Can't reproduce it with MS 4.4.0. With click on the first measure and shift+click on the last measure of the upper instrument exploding works as expected for me.
