Is it possible to remove the left panel so that during operation a sheet with notes is deployed throughout the screen?

Left Panel: press F9.
Right Panel: press F8.
Both switch on and off when pressed repeatedly.

This you showed switching inside the panel. And I meant to remove the entire left panel, which takes about 1/6 screen!)
