hello. is there any way to make the frame visible when printing? or is there some other way to add a visible frame between staffs in the score?

No, and yes, add a line of text with spaces only and make that text's style have a frame

I tried to do as you wrote. but when I add only spaces, the frame around the text does not stretch, but remains the size of one character. my frame stretches only when I enter letters. But I only need a frame.

Should work though. Try Ctrl+Space

Ctrl+Space doesn't help either. I found out that in order for the frame around the text to stretch, at least one character other than a space is needed

Then this does seem to be a regression vs. Mu3

I was able to do it by adding a row of spaces and then one or more return characters. Once the text is added, select it, and go to the Properties tab (upper left), click to Show More, and give the text a frame. Oddly, the frame will be as wide as your first row of spaces, even if a subsequent row is longer.
You could create a rectangle in inkscape or the like, as an SVG, and add that to your score, then scale then scale/size it to your needs

Thanks, I'll do that. I just thought there was an easier way to do it inside musescore.
