Corrupted File
MU4 doesn't open the file. The error message says: it's corrupted and contains errors that could cause malfunction... Clicking on open anyway doesn't work.
The file was created using MU4 on windows 10. Is there any chance to save the file? Thank you!

It is not corrupted. It is not, technically, a MuseScore file either as it is simply full of zeros.

Thanks. Some hours ago, it was still full of music. How is that possible?

Multiple vulnerabilities - opening, modifying and saving a file can go wrong in so many ways. Maybe some operating systems are more prone to problems than others.
OK, wacky analogy:
it's like you have vac-packed (compressed) all your possessions and put them in a suitcase. When you come to need something (like to do work on your score) you have to open the suitcase, un-vac-pack (decompress) your score, work on it , compress it again and put it back in the suitcase. And, just for good measure, mail it to yourself and hope that it turns up safe and sound.
Unlike suitcases, however, you can create backups of scores virtually for free. Save as..., Save as..., Save as...
