Recently Corrupted file, and converting to XML
I'm back here again with another file that went bad after closing it out last night. I'm certain the score is not able to be recovered and full of zeros, so I'll ask this: How do I go about converting un-openable files into xml?

This file is full of zeros and so you can't convert it to xml!
Delete it ...

Okay. I have the backup. Is that likely to be corrupted as well? I can’t find a way to open it as an actual Muse Score file.

Remove the '~' from the file extension and then try to open it.
If it still doesn't work, check with an ASCII editor to see if it also consists of zeros - then unfortunately you have no chance.
Alternatively, attach the file here. But this only works with the extension mscz, or you pack it into a zip file.
