How to delete the triplet rests

Hi all,

I am learning so this may be a really basic question. I was using eighth notes, then I changed it to ctr-3 for triplets, but now I need to delete the triplet and continue with normal eighth notes, but when I delete a note it puts the rests for the triplet, I can't get rid of the triplet thing over it and I can't delete it.

Did I made myselft clear !?

btw,,, I forgot to add that Muse crashes in some of my attempts to correct this issue, for example if I am over the first note of the 'triplet', hit choose a longer note, and press C 3 times, muse will freeze and I have to kill it.

I am using 9.5 because thats the current for Mac OS

Open the attach file,

I am trying to delete de triplet at the #7 system, first of the second line.

1) Select the first rest (quarter rest)
2) Select Half note ( press 6 )
3) Press C
muse puts a C
4) press C again
muse doesn't do anything
5) press C again
muse freezes
