How to upgrade without loosing old settings?

I would like to upgrade to 0.9.6.1, but I'm afraid to lose all my settings (quick keyboard commands...).

How can I do?

Which version of MuseScore you are currently running ? If it's MuseScore 0.9.6 you can override your current installation.
Be aware that there is a critical bug with version 0.9.6.1 on Windows XP.
If you use this OS, I don't advice the upgrade. 0.9.6.2 should come in the coming days.
