adding lyrics for bass notes
lasconic, sorry, I was not specific enough. I am putting hymns into Hungarian. I am using the hymn template. When I click on the bass notes it adds the lyrics below the bass staff. Can I not add them between the staves? the English hymn from which I am working has it that way. Thank you very much for this program. Can I donate? I have certainly got more than my fair share of worth from the program.

A work-around would be to add the lyrics to the top staff in the timing you need for them to connect with the Bass part.

It'd work only if baass part is homphonic to the next upper part.
Yous could also mouse-drag each syllable from under to over the staff. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to exist the possibility to extend this new position to the other syllables. So you'd have to proceed for each syllable, and check the alignment.....rather tedious.

Perhaps.
One could, however set 1/8 notes, for example, in a second voice of the upper stave, and then hide them. Then when one was entering the lyrics, one would be able to add a lyric at any of those points.
