You said the PDF problem was fixed in a nightly. How do I aquire this nightly? I tried to download one, but the pdf is still having some problems. the major problem is that when I have a rolled chord, the arpeggio sign is getting mutilated somehow. Please help!
Thanks,
Jonathan L. Wrachford
I think you didn't download a nightly build - you probably download the beta. For the nightly builds, see the Download link at the the top of the menu at right of this page, then scroll down. The problem with arpeggios being mutilated was fixed a week or two ago as I recall (was a problem in the Qt libraries we rely on; they are actually the ones who fixed it).
So you mean I'm supposed to download 1.3? I do have Beta 2 but am having problems with PDF. I'm sorry I'm having such a hard time understanding. It's not making to much sense right now.
No, as I said, scroll down - to the bottom of that page. There you will find the downlaod links for the night builds.
Although 1.3 wouldn't have this bug either, but it won't be able to open scores you've created in a 2.0 beta build.
BTW, also, "printing" works fine with beta 2, so if you have a virtual printer driver like PDF Creator or CC PDF (both free), you can get good PDF output from beta 2 as well.
Ok...now I have the Nightly....It says so, and I've opened. However, now the file I wanted to fix is corrupted, and won't open in the build. Is there some way to allow my file to be opened in the build?
Did you try the "ignore" button in the dialog telling you the file is corrupted?
Was the file originally created in the beta, or in 1.3? If in the beta, it would be very ncie to find out how it got corrupted so we can fix the problem that caused the corruption! Any ideas?
Thanks for responding. I don't know exactly why the program said it was corrupted. However, since I told you, i have tried the ignore. It did open in the build. I then translated it to PDF and am really happy with how it turned out. The only thing I am not quite sure about is: when I edited in either Musescore beta 2, and clicked "save" the window name would change to indicate that I was using the nightly version, and vice versa. I have no idea why it did that, so I made it where it would say I was using the nightly version and saved it to pdf in order to recieve the changes to the pdf document. This worked ok, but I probably will have problems knowing exactly what it's about until I download the actual Musescore 2, rather than using Musescore Beta 2. I also hope that the pdfs will be very good for the upcoming version.
Thanks so much for helping me. If you have any good ideas for me, I would appreciate it. I will write in the forum if i can find what corrupted the file, though.

How have you seen the Nightly are here:
http://musescore.org/en/download#Nightly-versions
(The first is the most recent) Attach your score here, if you want, and someone will check.
