new user first trouble
hello I've installed the 0.9.6.3 (on XP computer). the program starts but noone menuor button works.. I click everywhere but nothing happens.
is there something else to download ? (library? engine?) or what happens? ty

I can move the note into the demo song sheet or use the right button of mouse, but the left one doesn't work to open menu. :( please help

thank you, I'm reading there.,. seems the same thing... Now I've discovered that can 'unfrozen' menu by click on the windows menu button (on my keyboard) than click on a menu in musicscore.. every click on musescore needs a preclick on that button on my keyboard :-| .. yes it's not a solution.. not useful.. now I have open a new file, with a blank sheet, try to play with my midi piano keyboard, I ear the sound but doesn't write on the sheet.
Imagine that I've solved the bug of frozen button, why when I play, nothing appear on the sheet?

Download the debug version and launched the bat file, but in the prompt of dos nothing happens.. no text to copy.
Please developer, admin, forum user, help me ! I really would use this software :(

Can you check the Known incompatibilities page and verify that your setup is not causing this problem?
Could you tell us which sound card you are using?
Thanks for hanging in there. If we solve this, it will make MuseScore better.

my sound card is an inbundle Realtek , and I use a pianokeyboard with a midi to usb cable
nothing ot the listed incompatibilities, I have just asio driver installed from there http://www.asio4all.com/
but I'm looking that when musescore is open the asio driver is off. (usually with other software like fl studio or standalone sound emulator the driver are iconized near the windows clock (bottom right side)

xp is home edition 2002 service pack2 and I have just my account on pc no guest.. Yes I think it's admin mode

Not really... Let me sum up, and correct me if I'm wrong.
You use Windows XP SP2. In both MuseScore 0.9.6.3 and a nightly build, you can't left click on the menu. Right?
Your hardware setup (Asio, usb keyboard) does not seem to be the problem.

yes, I've found a strange system to make it works.. click on the window button of my keyboard (the one near ctrl) then click soon on the muse menu and works x 1 time... evry click on the muse needs a pre click on that button on my keyboard..
I dn't know why this unlock.
Bytheway I could try an old version of musescore but I don't know where found it.
