oops with the file this time. Jolly piece for piano and violin
Hello,
This is my first go at notation software or even writing my music down at all.
I think the software is excellent, as with a little trial and error and no experience I've managed to produce pretty much what I had in mind and I'm someone who can barely work my mobile phone :-)
Hope some of you like it, thanks for listening and thanks to musescore for the software.
Stephen

I've speeded it up, realized it was moving along too slowly to be jolly.
I would be interested in getting some feed back on the music but also on the notation presentation.
After the middle eight I wanted to gain momentum and end on C, where as each part ends on Fm, which sounds unresolved. At first I thought it might be nice to leave it like that but decided against it. I usually write songs and this probably will be one eventually.
It's arranged for violin and piano because my neices play those instruments and I hope it will be fun for them to play it.

Thank you for sharing your song. I really enjoyed listening to it. On that note, I did not detect any unresolved parts and I think the tempo you ended up with works well for this type of song.
One thing I might consider changing is the loudness of the violin at measures like 10 & 11. In my opinion, the violin should have the melody in the later half of those measures and I don't hear it as clearly as I would like to.
All in all, great work. I'm sure your nieces will love this song.

Thanks Asutori,
Since I uploaded, I listened and thought the piano and violin were sort of fighting each other a bit and that there was too much reverb, so I adjusted the reverb and have the violin louder throughout. I think it sounds a lot better now.
