can't open file
The program has been working flawlessly up until now. I just finished a score and now cannot open the file. It gave me one error message saying the file was too large (it's only 11k?) and after that no error messages, and no score. I tried opening other files, they opened just fine. I also tried opening the backup ".mscz," file with the same result, nothing. Help?

Can you attach the file you are having trouble with (plus the .mscz, version of the file)?

The file is corrupted (Do you remember the steps that caused this to happen? Are you able to repeat the conditions?)
However the backup copy is fine. You just need to change the file name so it doesn't have a comma at the end or a dot at the very beginning.
