Playback through Measure Repeats
I am on a Mac using Snow Leopard and version 0.9.6.3 rev 3507
I used the measure repeat symbol for several of the staffs in my score since the song I am working on has very redundant vocal parts (the same measure can be sung 12 measures in a row while the lead part sings on top). When I play back the score, the notes that should play during the measure repeats do not play. This does not seem to be affected by the "Play Repeats" button.
In order for me to hear the parts, I tried copying and pasting the repeated measure from the measure with the notes to the measures with the measure repeats. However, I can't cut and paste a measure onto any of the measures with repeat symbols. I can't seem to be able to delete the measure repeat symbol, or cut it from the measure (I can drag the symbol with the mouse all over the page, but it does not help).
Is there something I am not doing correctly with the measure repeats?

To get ride of the "play repeat sign", you can select a measure by clicking an empty part of it and press Del.

The tip worked, although I used "Cut" instead. The delete key does not appear to have any affect on my Mac.

Some Macs do not have a forward delete key on the keyboard so you have to press Fn+Backspace. For details see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delete_key
