Brass Band template
As some of you might have noticed, Iusually post brass band music, but for that i needed to make a template so I don't need to select instruments all the time. Here it is! Note that the percussion parts are made for the instruments that my local band can use. The other band I play in uses timpani, xylophone, and various other instruments in addition to the glock and the drumset. It's mostly up to the composer or the arranger to decide.
To save a template you copy the mscz file to the template map where the program is installed. In my case:
computer > local disc > program files > musescore
I'm hoping you guys find this usefull and if you make something nice, I might try to get my band to play it and post it on youtube!

this template seems to have the key sign backwards. When you click to change to Concert Key it shows the instrumentation key sign. When concert is off, the key signature shows all the same. Because of this problem, it will be hard to change to Concert Pitch to change/add key signs during the composition.

There is definitely a bug.
When adding a key signature with new template it shows ALL staves in Concert Pitch even though it is still unchecked in the GUI. Once Concert Pitch button has been ticked on and off the key signature behave as expected.

The Brass Band templates I produced don't have this problem. As with ver.2.0 the best way to change the key sign for all instruments is in concert mode then change to instrument mode. I have also made a template to show all of the usual instrumentation of a brass band to show the equivalent concert key for all the key signs.
I have previously put my versions of the Templates on this site for review. I have been using them for 3 years arranging for a local brass band and they have worked great.
They are on the posts section in a zip file. I have also added them to this post for you.
I have them added them to the MyDocuments/musescore2/templates directory and MuseScore finds them and adds to the new score menu.
