MuseScore not opening
I haven't used MuseScore much lately, but today I tried to open it and I get a message saying it has stopped working. It doesn't progress past the splash screen.
I have tried downloading and installing the newest version (1.0.0) from the web (after uninstalling and rebooting). I've also tried reverting to factory settings.
I'm running Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium, with AVG Internet Security. The problem occurs if I open the program, or open a previously saved file. After trying the "Run as administrator" option I got another message (see attachment). It seems to be looking for the soundfont in the wrong folder, so maybe that is causing the problem.
I downloaded the latest nightly build, and that launches, but I'd really rather work in the stable version.

Is there a way for me to wipe everything MuseScore installs off my computer? Even after the install/uninstall the configuration file doesn't change. I tried deleting it, but it still stores it somewhere.

There is indeed: http://musescore.org/en/handbook/revert-factory-settings

I tried that already, but it did not work.
I'm still unable to even get past the splash screen, despite multiple uninstall - reboot - install - reboot cycles.

I created a new user profile on my laptop, installed and it works in that profile, but not in mine.
Any suggestions?

Perhaps you should send a personal message to one of the developers if you're really having trouble, and maybe they will give you help in this topic, or personally.
