Columns in/with text objects

Sometimes, especially for songs, it would be good to have at least 2 columns for text.
Is there any possibility yet?

I have tried to use two text boxes, one with a right margin in the middle and one with a left margin in the middle. It is possible to shift the second text via negative vertically directly beside the other text.

But there is one problem: Even if the second text box then is empty, it will be below the other text box with exactly the heigth of the related text, that is above of the box (which then is empty).
So pretty much space is given away ...
