Default size of notes and stems in tempo marking

MuseScore 2.0.3 on Windows 7

Overall I love MuseScore and I use it daily. But there is one point which bothers me in trying to produce professional-quality scores for publication. There must be a way round this, but I am still a relative novice.

See the attached MuseScore file and PDF with three different tempo markings. To me MuseScore's default notehead and stem in the tempo mark seem disproportionately small in relation to the adjacent text.

I also show below the original tempo markings from the same works, published in 1899 (Andante non troppo), 1936 (With spirit) and 1922 (Allegro).

The problem is that in MuseScore the stem (and the dot in 6/8 time signature) are so small that they can disappear when printed, leaving just the solitary notehead.

Is it just me, or do other users find the default size too small? And is there an easy workaround?

Easy Workaround: double click the tempo text to get into edit moder, select just the note and at the bottom of the MuseScore window in the text tool incerease the size, hit Esc to Exit edit mode
