Moving a bunch of measures

• Aug 28, 2009 - 07:00

Running openSUSE 11.1 and musescore 0.9.4.

I have a piano score that contains a treble and bass clef.

I've arranged a song with the chorus first then the verse, repeating back to the chorus 2 then the ending.

I need to move the chorus (about 50 measures of both treble and bass clefs (which spans multiple pages)) after the verse. So moving though the score is going to be extremely long.

Is there a good way to do this ?

Thanks, Duaine

First, where can I find 0.9.5 - rpm for opensuse 11.1 ?

I am composing a song in "barbershop" format:

Treble Clef - Tenor - stems up
Treble Clef - Lead - stems down
Bass Clef - Bari - stems up
Bass Clef - Bass - stems down

Running opensuse 11.1 and musescore 0.9.4

Everything looks great except for a few notes and chords:
- Measure 1 - chord 2 - treble clef - notes c (lead) and d# (tenor)
- Measure 30 - chord 1 - treble clef - notes f (lead) and c# (tenor)
- Measure 38 - chord 1 - treble clef - notes f (lead) and d (tenor)
- Measure 44 - see Measure 1

Thank you in advance, Duaine

The vertical alignment of the seconds is not the normal behavior. My guess is you are actually encountering this bug (fixed in 0.9.5) although it is hard to tell for sure since you only provided the PDF.

For the crossing voices you can tweak the horizontal position of the notes by double-clicking the note head and using the arrow keys.

I can't help you with OpenSUSE. I don't know who maintains that package of MuseScore.

I'm looking for the same functionality.
I'm not looking for copy and paste, i mean literally moving like you move text in a text editor.
Or something like cut > and insert.
