Staffline-Distance ignored when exporting to MusicXML
Hello,
I changed the distance between individual staff lines (so the five lines in a staff) in a score by right-clicking on the staff and then editing the properties. So I set this distance to 1.5. When I exported the score to png everything works fine but when I export it to a MusicXML and reload the MusicXML again, the distance between staff lines is set to 1 again.
Is this a bug or is there a way to export this property to MusicXML as well?
Kind regards

If you want to big staff:
instead:
use layout > page settings
Scaling
staff space = [1.764] <- change this value to 2.646 (1.5sp)
this adjustment exactly exported and imported.

Hello and thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately this does not help me, since it simply scales everything in the score and I would just like to increase the distance between stafflines.

Just curiosity:
Are you creating a Blank Staff?
Because this setting doesn't place the notes in the right places. (Buggy?)
So I suggested general settings.

No I'm not creating a Blank Staff. I have a finished score where I want to change some layout settings but I noted that many settings are not represented in MusicXML like the line-width of staff lines, the musical symbol font etc.

This adjustment useful only for tablature staff. (Beacause of number on lines)
also / may be: musicXML not accept this kind of value for standard staffs.
Right now changing staffline distance doesn't really work in general - it basically only does reasonable things for tab. For stand staves it produces randomly crazy results. So there really isn't any point in using it in its current state that I can think of. Can you explain what you are trying to accomplish? Are you trying for some sort of experimental custom notation that requires multiple notes between staff lines, for example?

I am working on a machine learning project and would like to enhance my dataset by modifying the line spacing etc.

OK. Just keep in mind pretty much everything about how this works currently is broken and will be fixed - which is to say, different - in a future version of MuseScore. So hopefully you won't be writing a tpon of code relying on the current broken behaviors.
