Copy 1 voice from 3 on 1 stave to other stave.
I know how to select the colored notes of a voice, I press 'copy';
but the I try to paste onto a new stave and nothing happens.
Should I select all measures of the new stave?
I tried but when I click (to paste), only 1 measure is selected, and nothing happens.

I can select one voice from 3 of the same stave.
However, how do I copy this voice to a blank stave?

I guess you don't...
Copy the entire staff, swap voices so that the one you want ends up as voice 1, select a note of the other voices -> right-click -> select -> more... -> same staff and voice -> delete.
Repeat this for the rests that now take the place of the notes.
Repeat for other unwanted voices
