Quaver anacrusis?
Hi,
I need to create an anacrusis of only a quaver, but I can't make the bar any less than a crotchet. Is there a way to do this without leaving a quaver rest?

right click -> measure properties... and change the measure duration to a quaver, see: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/measure-operations#properties
(and exclude this measure from measure count)

Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately I can't get the options to accept a 0.5 so the shortest anacrusis I can make is 1 beat. Have gone with hiding the first rest for a work around for now!

You've to change the first value to "1" an the second to "8" (1/8), see attached file.
