Can't Find MIDI Driver
I'm a new. Ive successfully downloaded and installed MuseScore. I can't find a way to activate the MIDI input. Is there something else I need and where do I find it? Looks like a great program. I can't wait to connect to my keyboard and really try it out. I would appreciate any advice you can offer.

If you have several MIDI in devices, your keyboard needs to be the first one to be detected by MuseScore.
There is no "MIDI in" selector for the moment.

Thanks for your help. I have only one device, a simple Yamaha keyboard. I'm using a M-Audio 1:1 USB cable to connect the MIDI in/out from the keyboard to my laptop. I know the cable works because I've read the notes played on the keyboard with a program NoteID. When I open MuseScore, I can see the MIDI icon but it's grayed out. I've found the appropriate section in the Preferences setup but can't tell it to look for the USB connection.

As far as i know there is no preference for midi input selection
The best way to know how many midi input you have and how they are numbered is installing PmDefaults.

Setting the default MIDI input in PmDefaults is not useful thought, until the bug I pointed out is solved.
Hi, I'm trying to connect my Casio to Musescore. The Casio is connected and turned on before Musescore is started. The Casio works with various webapps that connect through the browser. The midi connector is on in Musescore (tried both toggle states) and "Enable midi" is checked in the "note Input" tab of preferences. But when I go to the I/O tab, no devices show under "MIDI Input" and "MIDI Output". Nothing happens when I press 'N' and play on the keyboard. Please help! And I'm using Windows 10, Toshiba Satellite, P775-S7320
