Bar numbers below multimeasure rest

It would be useful to (optionally) show the range of measures covered by a multimeasure rest centred below all multimeasure rests of a score/part. That could eventually require its own text style, seeing as it wouldn't necessarily follow the "bar number" style. Here's an example from a music sheet I saw recently :

I don't know how frequent this notation is, but I think it helps musicians during ensemble rehearsals to keep track the measures without searching for markers or counting from the beginning of the staff, depending on the normal indications for measure numbers in a given score/part.
