Keyboard Shortcuts

Quick description of the bug :
Each note duration is linked with a number of the keyboard. Eg : 5 is quarter note, 7 is a whole note. So 6 should be a half note. And when I press 6, nothing happens.
Repeatability : everytime.

My config :
I'm using Musecore 1.3 (in French), but I think the problem was already here in 1.2.
My laptop is running Windows 7.
I'm using an AZERTY keyboard

What do you expect to see happen? It's not clear if you know how note entry works, but pressing the number key doesn't enter a note - it simply selects the duration for the note to be entered. You still need to hit a key or click to enter a note. Apologies if you know that, but it wasn't clear from your description. If you do understand how note entry works and you're saying that all shortcuts work except 6, then I'd guess it's something special about your keyboard configuration. You could try reassigning that shortcut in Edit / Preferences / Shortcuts. Also think about whether you have any special keyboard software installed (eg, something to map keys to macros) and whether the "6" is being trapped. Also be sure to try both the regular 6 and the one on the numeric keypad.

Indeed, these shortcuts don't work the way they should. I have to press Shift before picking a number. But it doesn't work with 6.
So, there is another way, waiting for an updating :
just redefine the shortcuts : replace each number with its equivalent in lower case. On my keyboard, it gives :
& instead of 1, é instead of 2, " instead of 3, and so on... It works well!
