Copy lyrics to clipboard...

I hope there is a way to do this...
I have entered a bunch of verses of lyrics into a song in Musescore.

I now want to copy all of these lyrics to use OUTSIDE of Musescore.
So far I have selected all lyrics and then chosen Select all Similar.
It highlights ALL the lyrics in the song. Perfect!
Now I Copy them.
Go to my outside program and Paste.
Nothing happens. :(
Is there a secret to doing this?
