D.S. Dal Segno repeated twice or more times
I can't work out how to edit the D.S. properties to get the D.S. to repeat itself twice. - eg play the AA BB CC sequence three times -I can only get it to do it twice.
I would like this sequence:
intro - AA BB CC - AA BB CC - AA BB CC - AA
I know this isn't standard music practice, but very common in folk music. This request is very similar to the Play count: feature in the bar properties for the normal repeat dots on the last repeat bar.
Who ever solves this gets one of my infamous Oktoberfest beer drinking songs : )

I tried a double D.S. on bar 32, but Musescore does not recognise the second D.S. second time around.
If it did, then I could put as many D.S. repeats as required, or if the Inspector Element of the D.S. had a play count, this would solve it!
Anybody got some ideas? Maybe some combo of the Jump options in the Inspector Element?

Those jump instructions do have a "with repeats"
You need a D.S. al Fine, a segno at the beginning of A and Fine at its end.
Still won't play it 3 times, this is not possible

Yes, correct. I put with repeats, and the repeats work fine after a D.S to Segno jump
But it it will not jump back a second time, not even with two D.S.'s in the bar - so can't get 3 times in total :(
I half got it to work with a coda to jump back to the beginning after the D.S, but the "with repeats" failed on the third time through, and the volta's were skipped.

You could fake it by appending 2 measures, make them as short as possible via measure properties (1/64?) and put the 2nd D.S. and the final D.S. al Fine there

Yes, I was thinking something like that too, eg a second D.S. on some hidden bars with virtually no counts.
I will try it.
