Export Problems
I tried to export some songs to WAV. I tried to play the files but there was no sound. I am running Windows 7. I've tried both Fluid Sf2 and Sonatina Sf2. Neither of them work even in the latest build.

Did you try with a small score? Is it working?

I tested it with a 1 page 1 instrument score from MuseScore.org. It doesn't work with either soundfont.
FWIW, I am on Windows 7 also, and this works for me. Is it only exported WAV files that fail for you? What about direct playback within MuseScore? What about export to other formats? What program are you using to play the WAV file? Are you sure the playback is not muted in that program?

Playback is fine in Musescore. The only export option that seems to work is MIDI. I tried to play the WAV file in VLC. I have verified that playback is not muted.

uninstall musescore ... restart computer ... reinstall musescore .... fixes some export problems , sometimes ..

Would I just have to uninstall the nightly or would I have to uninstall MuseScore 1.3 as well?
In reply to A Clarification by peter-frumon
There is no install for nighly builds, so there is no uninstall. But unpacking nightly builds into the same location time and time again can lead to trouble due to incompatibilities, so just delete the entire nighly build directory, get a recent one and unpack it afresh.
And 1.3 has nothing to do with it.

I deleted the build I had, Restarted the computer and started fresh with the latest build. Still unable to export WAV files.

Whether playback is muted or not seems irrelevant, MuseScore apparently always exports all instruments (see #22505: Cannot export just one instrument's sound, selected via mixer), but this works for me just fine, Win7 Ent. 64bit. Windows Media Player Plays the resulting wav or mp3.
Using the Default soundfont FluidR3_GM2-2.sf3, is it an issue with sf2 soundfonts?
In reply to Whether playback is muted or by Jojo-Schmitz
As per http://musescore.org/en/node/22545 this isn't an issue with SF3 Soundfonts.

Earlier today I did a test with the Fluid SF3 and found that it work exporting WAV files.

To be sure I understand the problem...
Can you confirm that wil the same score and the same version of MuseScore you are not able to export a WAV file if you use a SF2 soundfont, but you can export if you use a SF3?
Just did a test on the same version as before with both soundfonts. It's now working OK. Hopefully it will remain that way.
