Reducing the space between staves
I apologise if this has already been answered - I followed one thread and got a bit lost but I do not think it was addressing my problem. I have a single stave of whistle music consisting of 20 bars. I usually put a system break in every four bars. When I print it the space between the staves (bottom of upper to top of lower) is approximately 25mm. I want to reduce this - how can I do this? I have been in to Style and Layout but nothing I change appears to affect it. Frustrating and I am sure I must be missing something obvious. Please help.
Thanks Bob

Thanks Kuwitt.
Note there is a min and max system distance. MuseScore will use the "min" setting to fit as many systems on the page as it can, but will then stretch them out up to the "max" so things fill the page more nicely. 20 measures with breaks every four bars is five systems, which fits no problem using the default "min" setting. MuseScore is thus stretching things up to the "max", so reducing the "max" will do what you want.
