entering lyrics in a rest space
In my song I want to include some "action words" in the lyrics e.g. a childrens song about musical instruments and during a rest space I want the children to toot their horn so I want to include "toot-toot" in the lyrics.

I'm not sure if 3.0 supports this or not but for earlier versions you can place some invisible notes. You could also place some notes with X-heads as is often done in scores where the singers clap or stamp their feet?

Or: click the rest;
Ctrl+T-> enter 'toot-toot';
click 'toot-toot' open Inspector (F8) set as lyric (even/odd).
