triplets - help!
trying to insert quaver triplets in 4/4 time (so to be played in the time of one crotchet) but it will only let me do semiquaver triplets? is there any way around it or am i just doing it wrong?

Select a crotchet rest and press Ctrl-3 (Command-3 on Mac). For more information, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tuplets.

Make sure you put the quarter note (crotchet) value in first before going to tuplets, NOT the quaver value.
