Automatically not having a note's dot interfere with a binding line
Forgive me, I do not know the correct jargon for this in english but basically I'm having an issue with whenever you bind a dotted note (esp. a chord) the binding line that occur will override the dot. Obviously this is not a problem other than aesthetically, and a very minor problem at that, but it is something that I often times find myself having to fix and seeing as there has recently been attempts to make formatting easier, and cleaner, I believe some sort of automatic state would be helpful!
The file attached shows what I mean.

The term is "tie", btw :-). This is a known issue, see for example #45576: Tie on same side of staff/ledger line as augmentation dot = collision. Tricky to fix completely when one considers potential clusters, but no doubt possible to improve.

Hm, I see! It's obviously something that takes some thought, and seeing as it's been brought up 4 years ago I can only hope they're considering fixing it.
