Finale can export to XML and MuseScore can open that.

Just to be clear, the answer is "no".
Finale Notepad can convert .mus files to musicxml
It installs and works under wine !
I'm using Xubuntu 20.04.
Open your .mus file in it , and export to musicxml
Simples !!
