Accent letters not working
Hello, I have a German keyboard on my laptop and can't enter accents on letters (é, à, ...). The keyboard has an extra accent key, which I press before the respective letter. In other applications (e.g. Libre Writer) it works. Or am I doing something wrong? Musescore 3.0.2 on Linux Mint 19

Using the AppImage?
Yes it's a known problem with AppImages, works fine with distribution packages.
Hi,
Use the ascii code for it! i.e. Alt+130 for é, Alt+133 for à etc.

Need NumPad for those numbers, IIRC

AFAIK the "Alt" key doesn't work for unicode symbols with Linux. For Linux the key combination should be "ctrl"+"shift"+"u", but apparently only for gtk applications. So I'm afraid this isn't a workaround for the AppImage of MuseScore.
