Seperating a bar
Looking for a way to seperate this bar (see picture) in two parts, but I'm only getting either a complete bar, or one bar with the other notes 'loose'. How do I do this?

I"m not sure I understand how you want it separated. If you want voice 1 on one staff and voice 2 with a rest on beats 1 & 2, then use the filter selector (F6) and cut voice 2 from the source, the paste it into another place. You can then exchange voices 1 & 2 and delete the rest that will result in voice 2.

So you only want 2 8th notes beamed rather than 4? See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/beams for changing the beaming on some notes and https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/time-signatures#create-time-signatu… for information on creating a time signature with the beaming you want.
