text size on the pallettes

• Feb 16, 2019 - 01:10

I am 63 years old and the text on the master palette is getting hard for me to read.
Is there any way to enlarge that text?

I don't know which Operating System and/or MuseScore version you are using, but...

I use MuseScore 3.0.2, portable version, into UbuntuStudio 18.04.1 LTS (64 bit Linux). All the following procedure is based on my installation, but I guess there should be something similar in Windows and Mac.

1) Open the Main Apps Menu.

2) Click on the "Configuration Manager" option.

3) Click on the "Appearance" icon.

4) Click on the "Character Type" tab.

5) Look for the "PPP custom configuration" box.

6) Change the number. By default, it is 96. You have to write a bigger one, up you can read the screen characters without problems.

That's all, folks!!!

There is another way to change this:

1) Inside MuseScore, look for the "PREFERENCES" menu.

2) See the right side of the "GENERAL" tab. There are some boxes there, to change size and type of the characters the program uses.

3) Just change it at your best values.

BUT... Maybe, just maybe, some characters don't fix inside some panels, because the new size. Just maybe!!!

Greetings!!!
