How do I insert a triplet grace note?
Making triplets out of grace notes isn't working for me. And maybe it isn't supposed to. How do I write a triplet? Match the scan and place a text 3 under it?

That's what I'd do. After all, it's not a real triplet, really shouldn't be notated that way, but if you want to copy the appearance of it, text is fine,

Project Gutenberg. Gotta match the text. Thanks, Marc! :)
I achieved something like this by adding a semi-quaver grace note to the main note; then adding another semi-quaver grace note to the grace note; then adding another grace note to the second. It gives the desired triplet grace-note, although you have to manually add the "3" subscript.
