Sheet music disappearing
I made 2 copies of my piece, and when I went to open them, both were gone (and so was another piece). I double check my pieces are saved every time. I'm really upset about this because I absolutely slaved over that piece and it's supposed to be for a youth choir, who is expecting it tomorrow. I don't know why it's gone, but I'd really like it fixed,

Open Preferences check the path. Search on virtual store
MuseScore didn't make them disappear, you saved them somewhere other than where you thought you did. Use you system's search feature to find the scores.

I wasn't born yesterday. I used the search feature, and it was completely gone. Now, I'm missing 4 other pieces (some of which I haven't opened in months.)

If your correct about them missing, then you need to find the gremlin that stole them because it wasn't MuseScore.
Many people before you have made the same accusation but after proper research they found the missing scores. So if you want help finding them them I'm willing. If you want to give up on them and allow them to be lost then I'm fine with that also.
