Bass pizzicato not working properly

• Mar 26, 2019 - 06:25

I'm working on a piece where the (contra)basses start off playing pizzicato (as in, there is no arco prior to it). However, when I press play for playback, it plays as a piano sound. I have checked, and in the staff text properties, it lists voice 1 as going to the pizzicato channel, yet in the Mixer, it only shows as the arco channel. It doesn't appear to matter what the patch is listed in the Mixer -- it still plays as a piano. I have the latest version of Musescore as of writing this (3.0.5.5992 as of 3/25/19), and I am using the Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra soundfont and the basic Musescore 3 soundfont.

Thanks!

You need to press the right arrow at the top left corner of the box with the bass volume. This will expose the 3 bass channels so you can make the font for pizz to be pizz rather than piano.
