Why can't I change staff distance?
The Handbook page https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/layout-and-formatting#style-score says "Staff distance: The space between staves which are not part of a grand staff" and gives a picture of it. But in the attached score, when I go to Format/Style/Page, change the Staff Distance setting to a lower value, and click OK, nothing happens.

OK, I see now that you need to lower Max. System Distance.
